I saw this last night. It was pretty well done.

All said and done, I still like Johnny Cash's version better than NIN.

Y'know, Kermit's just might be my favorite now. Very Happy

Though, if you take into account Mark Romanek's video of the JC version, it is definitely bolstered.

When I was 14, I thought the NIN version was amazing/life changing/all that jazz, but it seems like its been usurped by the masses to the point of being completely diluted. I mean... these days if someone wants to show how "tortured" they are, their IM away message will have something like "If I could start again..." in it.

Not to mention which, having seen NIN live 10 times now and having the show basically stop dead EVERY time for Trent to do the obligatory performance of "Hurt", I'm kind of sick of it. When he closed the Fragility 2.0 shows with it, it was cool, but the "With Teeth" support tours usually have it somewhere in the middle and it's kind of.. dull.

I'm not going to lie, I almost cried. I'm a huge Muppet fan.

Did anybody else ever notice how there were Muppets that were Sesame Street fare, and Muppets who mainly went to the Muppet show, but Kermit always walked the line between the two? That was damn cool.
