Instead of taking the key from a Windows Server 2003 computer, take it from a Windows XP computer that is working.

I'll give it a shot, they had me delete all skype files in my registry with my first attempt though...

I have no idea... I keep doing all that they tell me and what GPF suggested, but overall it keeps giving me the black box... it's like the program wasn't fully installed or something

In the instructions given by Microsoft complete the portion "Export the registry subkey from another Windows Server 2003-based computer"
Save the file and then open that file in notepad. Copy the text and send it to me in a PM.
