This is what most of the trees in Sindh, Pakistan look like after constant flooding forced millions of spiders to clamber onto trees. The massive webbing has helped to curtail the spread of malaria as most spiders have been able to find plenty of mosquitos to feast upon near so much stagnant water. However, that much webbing is also slowly killing off the trees thanks to blocking the sunlight.

Nature really is an amazing thing. Who would think that this could be one outcome possible from a natural disaster?

Heh, Would be interesting to watch.

I'd hate to be near one of those things and realize that the spider population is going to eventually explode.

Why, spiders eat crap that really can bug you, like mosquitoes and junk. Spiders are your friend!

There's a similar thing down near Mexico, there's been a massive migration of spiders. There's a small segment of forest that's been CRAWLING with spiders (can't even drive a car through there, there's so many) and some of the trees even fall from the amount of webbing on them.

I'm pretty sure those trees are made of nightmares. Imagine falling into one.
