I am somewhat amazed that Microsoft is so disjointed that they can't rollout their own fucking search engine to work with their own phone.
So, the mobile version of Bing went to HTML5 and Android and iPhone users will ignore it and continue to use Google.
The Microsoft Windows Phone 7 users, who might use Bing, have been forced to use an alternative because the Windows Phone 7 doesn't have HTML5 support yet.

This is beyond stupid.

Would someone explain to me what is supposed to make Bing so special? I hate their commercials so much that I've refused to try it ever.

Huh. So behind the power curve...didn't know Bing was Microsoft's baby.
No that it matters. I'm pretty much wedded to Google for life at this point.

When it comes to search, Google keeps doing everything correct... it amazes me at this point that Microsoft hasn't figure it out at least a little bit. A few suggestions... buy WolframAlpha or at least merge with them. Then change the color scheme and layout to suck less.

Why does this matter? Bing sucks as a search engine.
It's crap and you aren't going to have people suddenly become loyal to it based solely on the fact that it was made by microsoft.

It matters because Microsoft made a large technical error and it is publicly embarrassing. They are the second largest company in the world at the moment... so it matters.

Agreed. Why would a large company like Microsoft do that?
