I'm crossing my fingers for Guilty Gear XXX
Relevant:
Actually a new Guilty Gear 2 game would be nice too.

I'm hoping for a real third game, honestly.
I wonder how many "extra people" from the remakes are gonna make it to the next installment though.
Anyone but Leopaldon and I'll be as happy as possible

Leopaldon was a cheap bastard, but I'd love to see him as an optional midboss or something.

Is Isuka like a beat 'em up, or what? I think I read ABA is originally from it.

It has a (crappy) beat'em up built in, but it's just another remake of Guilty Gear 2. Actually, not even that, as it has no story whatsoever. Yeah A.B.A. is from there, and I think it was also the first time Robo-Ky was playable (I have no idea about the second part of that statement though).
It was my first Guilty Gear, which kind of explains why I have no idea what the game's plot is :/
EDIT: Tako tells me Robo-Ky has been playable since X2. My bad

Just as long as it's a fighting game. I didn't really care much for the other direction they tried taking it.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

Isuka was Guilty Gear's attempt at a four person fighter. And it had a Beat'em up with it. Didn't really work because to turn around you had to push a button. It's very similar to Judgment. But it had some really awesome music.

When you guys say Guilty Gear 2, do you mean Guilty Gear XX (which is actually the third Guilty Gear game, after Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear X) or are you talking about the crappy 3D game?

I mean 3D. I'm assuming Sehk means XX. GG2 was actually pretty good, but it definitley had some flaws.
If we do get a new one, I'd at least prefer a new one. We've had like 10 XX versions.

Yeah. I don't see any need for another XX revision. Plus Arc said in the past that Accent Core Plus was the final version of GGXX.

XX#Rwhatever had Robo-Ky in it, and that came first. I also thought he was in a previous game, but just used recolored Ky Sprites.
Isuka was a 4 player Guilty Gear that only came out on the PS2. You could jump into the background/foreground like the old fatal fury games, also, you had to press a button to turn. It was the premier of Leopaldon and A.B.A.
Aside from that stupid nurse from the wonderswan game and the two from iskua, what other characters were "extras"?

No...They were basic characters with one or two special moves apiece.
You might be thinking of Zato-1 which was Eddie's original name before his voice actor died.

The Zakos were playable in Isuka after you beat the Beat'em up mode if I remember correctly.

forget I said anything. I was talking about actual characters made up for the game, to be playable. not half assed unlockable bonus bullshit.
I'll go waste my time on something else.
