Also, Aksys is being flamed for this announcement on their own site. I guess the PS3 is region free, so there's not even really any point in releasing for PS3, as all the diehard PlayStation otakus already imported it back when they had no reason to believe it would ever be ported.
It's been discovered that the game was submitted for an ESRB rating for both the PS3 and 360, and was awarded a "T" on both systems. Aksys has been asked about this on their forums and has yet to respond.
