does anyone have any tips for bubbleman? I'm seriously stuck and it's getting frustrating.

Do you mean the level or the boss? Unless you are trying to beat it without using power ups just take him out with Metal Blades, he is a pushover if you use those. Like 8 hits should destroy him.
