I am disappointed that they're making a sequel to this movie... the original was great and it was done in such a way that it was debatable as whether or not Catherine was the killer, much in the same way people argue over whether or not Total Recall really happened or if Arnold was accidentally put into a paranoid fantasy and eventually lobotomized by the Rekall machine.
I have two main problems here:
1. It's fourteen years later. Sharon Stone is 48 and she's had a stroke. She looked suprisingly good in the online trailer I watched, but even at 300K it was fairly low res so it's hard to tell.
2. It's not written by Joe Eszterhas. Sure, he wrote Showgirls and Jade, but everyone deserves a third chance.
Apparently she's naked for most of the film, and her body still looks pretty good.

So you're saying that going to see this movie would be like going to a strip club, only without the sketchiness of having to cram $1 bills into some girl's g-string.
Also, the girls will actually be attractive.
Also, you don't have to attempt an awkward conversation with your friends: "So guys, here we are at the strip club.... yep."
