According to This Tiki Barber is coming out of retirement at the age of 35 after 5 years?
Quote: |
Barber's personal and professional life have been in shambles recently. In April 2010, Barber reportedly left his wife of 11 years, Ginny, for 23-year-old Traci Johnson, a former NBC intern. Ginny was eight months pregnant at the time. Soon after, NBC cited its morals clause and terminated Barber's contract, which reportedly paid him more than $300,000 per year.
In June 2010, the New York Post reported Barber was broke and couldn't pay his divorce settlement with his ex-wife. |
Apparently hes coming back because hes flat broke and needs cash fast to pay for his divorce. After a great career in the NFL if hes only coming back for that reason ive lost some respect for the man

I never had respect for him. He played in the league for many seasons, but had only one decent season where everyone was blowing him as if he was some legendary player, then he got his Super Bowl win and immediately retired.
And hey, if you're going to leave your wife when she's 8 months pregnant, you deserve a lot more than being broke. Douchebag.

I can't think of a single NFL team that would want/need him. He might get picked up during the season due to injuries, but jesus the guy is 35 and probably hasn't been keeping in RB shape. I wouldn't even sniff at him if I had to use my punter as my starting RB.

SnesGuy, I fixed it, but the guy's name is "Tiki Barber" not "Tiki barber". Please try harder to capitalize correctly, especially in post titles. You make not only yourself but the entire forum look like stupid assholes when you don't capitalize properly.

When I read the thread title I thought it said Tiki Barber is black, and wondered why this needed a full thread to discuss.

It probably did say that originally, what with Snessy's spelling issues.
