Watson is playing jeopardy as we speak and he is currently kicking major ass. If you guys do not know what im talking about, Watson is an IBM computer specifically designed to play in jeopardy and is playing against the 2 best jeopardy players ever. He is destroying the the human players by the thousands of dollars and hasnt missed a question yet. Is this the first step to skynet and Judgement day? Maybe

EDIT: Oh shit hes gotten 3 wrong and hes now losing
Update: Hes tied with one guy now at 5,000$
Update: Ok so he did actually tie with the guy at 5,000$ so score one for the human race!

A tie? That seems suspicious.

Still. I'm glad. Wish I was home so I could watch this.

You honestly didn't miss much, though hearing Alex say "No... Ken just said that" brought a smile to my face. The real show starts tomorrow with Double and Final Jeopardy...

I think as long as we don't build any arms on him then we should be fine.

Just remember that golden lesson learned from Small Soldiers: EMPs fuck all kinds of shit up, even robots, and all you gotta do is short out two power pole transformers with a wrench.

The EMP part is awesome, but the power pole thing I have to wonder if the writers put that in there as some sort of Darwin Test.

If you can't see the inherent danger in sentient robots, I don't know what to tell you. Yeah, this robot just plays Jeopardy, but do you think they're going to stop there?
