Today I was doing a quick, seemingly innocent Google Image search. My query was going to be, "Female Tattoo". I was trying to find the dumbest tattoo on a girl that I could, but for some reason, after I typed "Female" I pressed the Enter key by mistake and results for this query came up:

NSFW - http://www.google.com/images?q=female

Image #1 - A diagram of the female vagina
Image #2 - A diagram of how to insert the female condom
Image #3 - A diagram of a vagina with herpes and cysts

The first safe image was the 7th. It was a diver.
The second safe image was the 10th. It was Alicia Silverstone.

Have you ever done a Google Image search for what you thought would be a safe topic and found yourself drowning in NSFW material?

Cracked did an article a while (like over a year) ago where they entered a benign term, once with safesearch on, then again with safesearch off, and compared the two. It was pretty funny.

The megaman project did this to me. I was looking for pics on Wood Man, but I typed it all together, "woodman". Surprisingly I didn't find a giant stash of boners, just a whole lot of nude pictures of women and stuff. I guess there's a nude photographer named Woodman, who may or may not be able to make shields out of leaves Razz

No search is SFW anymore I don't think, which is expected when 85% of the internet features some level of nudity.

Well I learned that when you need an example photo of a hobo for a slideshow at work you shouldn't image search the word bum, damn limeys! Rolling Eyes
