When Beck noted he thinks Google is "in bed with the government," he means the American government. "There is a strange thing going on with this search engine and our government," he said. "And we all have to choose who we do business with."

It honestly stopped being funny long ago, to hjust being pathetic. Not that I'd be out of my way sobbing at the fact people stop using google it's just....this guy is suppose to represent down home, middle America? This is who people are comfortable having, saying "He represents us."
Makes my head hurt.

Yeah, I haven't had Cable or any sort of Television other than Netflix in a while and I'm glad. I really don't get how anyone could take him seriously.

I posted my opinion on this story on Twitter this morning. Glenn Beck is a lot like your mom. He's a nice enough person, and he means well, but he gets really upset about stuff that he doesn't really understand.

My Dad used to think this guy was awesome, now he doesn't even talk about him. I have no idea why that is, but the first time he turned it on in front of me I pointed out how fucking stupid the shit he was saying is. The guy seems like some nutjob conspiracy theorist to me in a position of power to influence people. Sure occasionally you might hear him say something you kind of agree with but then he precedes to make some ridiculous claim immediately afterwards.

So you guys honestly think Google is just totally on the up-and-up, no possible infiltration or subterfuge, just golden boys out to change the world for the better?
That's what people thought about Microsoft at one time, too.
I'm sorry, but when you're talking that much control over a communications medium, with that much data, and that much money, there is no fucking way you are not going to have intelligence agencies involved trying to benefit from it. Facebook too.
Oh, and for the record I think Glenn Beck is a self-righteous piece of shit who just ripped off Alex Jones' schtick. A piss-poor excuse for a Mormon.
