I remember seeing this movie years ago and it's really annoying me what it's called.
I can vaguely remember the plot of it. It was a science fiction/horror film. It was kind of oldish, probably came out in the 1970s or 1980s - more likely the 1980s.
I think it was set on a space base on some planet and the crew get infected by a parasitic alien organism. So they all start getting picked off or become aliens.
What is most vivid in my memory though is a scene towards the end where this guy spends the night with this woman and they are the only two survivors left. Then the next morning he wakes up and she doesn't move and he turns her over and she has like this alien face.
At that point i'm pretty sure the base is rigged to blow and the guy escapes or it's been destroyed by a missile or something. All i remember is the guy escaping.
Also the guy i am certain is a famous actor. I remember when i watched it i knew who he was.
Does this ring any bells? It's pretty generic what i've described here but perhaps someone will know. I'm pretty sure it's not The Thing.

Well unless i am mistaken and there was gay sex in The Thing then it's not that movie.
I honestly can't remember who the actor was. I guess this is a lost cause.
It's really like The Thing but it isn't it. The special effects were really quite similar.
You know what? I'm going to buy The Thing anyway and watch it but i know for a fact that it has no women in it.
It was almost set in a laboratory setting.
