Me and two friends are going to try to start a webcomic. We need a web domain and our artist needs to finish drafting the images so we can ink them, but once we get it up and running, would you guys be interested in looking at it?

It's called "In the Hall" and focuses on the school lives of two guys who are seniors in school (based exactly on me and my friend) and the basic shenanigans they go through. And we're thinking of putting the artist herself in it, too. It's going to be awesome.

Eh. Not sure what you mean. I have zero experience in anything related to maintaining an independent web server, much less one devoted to a comic. But if by layout, you mean the way the comic is set up...?

I write the script. My male friend is the editor and inker, and my female friend is the intial sketch artist. We're going to be the main focus of the web comic, if it ever gets off the ground.

Ah, that's what you meant. Well, it's going to be most typically six panels. It can involve seperate punchlines in each strip, but more commonly it'll involve story arcs. Or various locales, like "Chemistry Class" or it'll follow the day of one of the main characters. More commonly, it'll be all three of them associating, or two of the three. My friends want it to focus it on me primarily, which I find perplexing because I'm boring. But we just got this started, we're still working out a lot of major kinks.

Well, if the artist would get her shit together, we could already have it up. We were going to follow Menage a 3's format and update it 3 times a week.

Agh, we're having such a hard time finding an artist who can actually find the time for this shit. Is there ANYONE with decent drawing skills and spare time that is willing to help us? I'd send you the script if you say yes. I would also send you pictures of the main characters, seeing as it's based on us.

Well, I might ask Syd to host it... I don't want bother him with it though, he's already got a lot on his plate. If that fails, we're going to need a good site manager. Do you have any experience with site programming?

Also, the first comic is nearly finished. Woo!

Alright, our artist flaked and we need a new one. Anyone want to sign up? Doesn't have to be good, we just need to know what's going on.

Basic plot progression. As long as I can tell what's happening in the picture, I don't give a shit. Hell, there's a pokemon comic somewhere that looks like utter shit, but I still like it. If I can tell something's a hat and it is indeed a hat, then that's good.

I'll have to scan the script so you guys can see it, in all of its unedited glory. My handwriting is exceptionally bad, though, so you'll have to excuse me if it hurts your eyes.

Other than that, I'll get the script back on Monday from another friend, so I'll start scanning then.

Notes on the plot: it becomes a bit nonsensical about 40 or so strips in, so I don't know what you'd all think about that. However, we tried to keep it entertaining and put some recurring thematic elements into it.
