So, for a while I have wanted to get a Bomberman game for the Wii, however, through Wiiware and Virtual Console, there are simply tons of seemingly great Bomberman-games on the Wii. So my question to you guys would be, which Bomberman game on the Wii would you recommend, and please, why would you recommend that particular version?

Bomberman '93. It supports up to five player multiplayer and has a solid one player mode.

It's generally regarded as one of the best TG-16 games released in the American market.

^ i agree w/syd's recommendation. but only if you are gonna do local multiplayer. if you want to go online, that wiiware bomberman game allows you to play others online.

What about Bomberman '94 on the Virtual Console? It has Louie in it.

Is Bomberman '94 available to us? I don't think it was ever localized... Not that Bomberman NEEDS much localization.

I second Bomberman '93. It's pure bliss and never gets old.

Does it have any of the Super Bomberman games? I love the first 2.

Yeah, Bomberman 94 is available. So I guess I should go with one of the Turbografx-Bombermans since the Saturn-ones are not available on the VC, however, is 94 better than 93?

I believe '93 had a longer single player mode.

Bomberman '94 had more complex level designs, slightly cooler bosses, and a kangaroo.
