I love this collection. I do. The only other game I'm playing more than this is Final Fantasy I on FF Origins.

Streets of Rage was actually the first game I ever played. My uncle had a Genesis, and we would fire it up after dinner.

I got Comix Zone from the Wii shop the day it came out. Great game. It may be short, but it's hard enough to take some time to beat.

they should do a new one.

rumor has it that there was going to be a sega smash brothers, or somethig to that effect, and sketch turner was going to be one of the characters.

that would have been rad.

Hey man, don't knock the original Ecco! It wasn't that ba...wait, nevermind. It was terrible.

The boss at the end should have been a tuna boat that throws out plastic six-pack rings.

Yeah, and Vectorman 2 was...wait, was that the one where you fought slugs and shit? Man, the only good thing about that game was the pseudo-3D intro.

And maybe see Shining Force 2. If not, maybe it'll show up on the Virtual Console. Beyond Oasis did.

altered beasts was boring and slow, and was five minutes long.

alex kidd was very unmemorable.

vectorman 2 was retarded compared to the first, which was a masterpiece.

virtua fighter 2 on genesis was AWFUL. I loved it on saturn, but come on man! how the fuck can yo utake a game like that, dumb the graphics down to shit, take out a ton of frames, ade the whole thing in fake 3d thats actually 2d, and stil lcall it good? It's a crime against humanity.

The only things memorable about the game were the things that everyone makes fun of. "Wise fwom your gwave", and such.

I don't see why people make it out to be a masterpiece, but then again I can't complain too much. I've liked plenty of games that others have considered bad.

I tried playing Sword of Vermillion once while I was really, really high, and it could not hold my interest for the life of me. The title screen looked cool but then I started the actual game and it looked like a big, drab world made of brown, filled with uninteresting dialogue and a bad menu system.

(Correct me if I'm wrong?)

i remember thinking how cool valis was on genesis until I started playing.

then I figured "schoolgirl with sword fighting monsters, ok cool, I can dig this for a while ,even though it's unremarkable"

then I beat the first level.

I still don't get why people love that game.

All I remember about Altered Beast is "kneel and punch zombie, kneel and punch zombie, rip clothes off, avoid the boss that throws his head at you, rip the game out of the Genesis and insert Revenge of Shinobi".
