A potential tragedy was averted when an Italian police officer saved a boy who had fallen onto a railway line while playing a videogame. The entire event was captured in the video above.
A 10-year-old boy was so consumed while playing something on his PlayStation Portable that he walked right off a train platform and fell down onto the tracks below. A 23-year-old police officer, Alessandro Micalizzi, quickly jumped down and lifted the boy back onto the platform.
"It was only afterwards when I heard the other passengers clapping and cheering that I stopped and thought about what I had done and my heart was in my throat," he said. "That was the only time I thought of the danger otherwise -- I was just focusing on the boy and trying to save him before the train came into the station. I just reacted with instinct -- I saw him go over and he was lying on the track so I just jumped down, grabbed him and carried him to the platform. He was crying and shocked but other than that he was OK."
It's very fortunate that the train wasn't coming when the boy fell, or this could have been a really sad story. Instead, Micalizzi has proven himself to be a real hero.
There are some fun PSP games. I don't know why it's such a hated system.

...But honestly, I think 3DS is gonna be the real killer. People are gonna ignore their surroundings to get the best 3D effect, that can't end well.

I have one, but i have slowly learned to dislike it because it kinda sucks, while i do agree it does have some fun games, it doesnt have enough and most of its features suck

Has anyone ever played Shadowrun, specifically 4th edition? The whole concept of augmented reality games causing people to get themselves into potentially fatal situations isn't too far off. Personally, I just don't get why this should even be newsworthy. This kid, or the lady who fell into the mall fountain for texting and walking, should just be beaten for being such stupid fucks.
Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

I love my PSP. I just recently posted a list of recommended PSP games elsewhere, so I won't be copying it here.
Also, Who the hell walks around while playing a game? I can understand walking to get a drink, or walking to go poop or something, but definitely not in a public place, and definitely not in a potentially dangerous place. Wait until you fucking sit down.
