Don't know if any of you guys like film criticism or are Roger Ebert Fanboys like myself, but Roger Ebert rebooted the famous "Siskel and Ebert" shows with his new "Roger Ebert Presents: At the Movies" hosted by two current film critics and airing on PBS across the country.

Basically it's returning to the roots of the show, and the first one aired tonight in my area, but it's now streaming online if you haven't seen it or want to.

I'm a huge fan of Ebert's and subscribe to all of the old reviews on youtube.

I like his form of criticism, very constructive compared to most critics reviewing films these days.

I've not been a fan of most of Ebert's reviews for many years. I do respect the man though. While he can sometimes pull out a great review, I remember him constantly missing points to movies during his time with Siskel and Siskel would sit there smirking trying to explain characterization to him for 5 minutes with Ebert not budging. Personally, I think he's phoned it in for many years. He's even become cliche with giving something 3 stars based on the visuals, which I've always found to be stupid and childish. Again, the guy CAN review movies well, but a lot of times he just doesn't seem to want to put forth mu effort anymore.

Also I would love to see Ebert host this thing and tear movies apart with his new robot voice.

I was wondering about how this would be revisited. I knew Roeper and Weekly Other Guy (one time it was even Kevin Smith) passed on sometime last year.

Ebert is really hit or miss, but when he's on, he's really on. He gave the right review, in my mind, to the Human Centipede. Now if only David Lynch could get a good review on something besides Mulholland Dr.

Well, it's not Ebert. It's two online movie critics, Christy Lemaire or something and some guy with an incomprehensible first and last name.

The first episode was like the old Siskel and Ebert with a few new snippets, like a classic movie review and a review from Roger's robot voice.
