The only thing on that list I agree with is Phantom Menace. Reading the list, I had to wonder if this douchebag saw any movies made before 1994. Christ.
They Live should have made the main list, but I was glad to see it at least made the honorable mention section.
Hell, the Stallone/Assante fight from Judge Dredd is better than most of those.
And Terminator 2. Where the hell was Terminator 2!?

I give him props for putting a fight from Mortal Kombat in there. Especially a fight scene that ends with an autographed photo.

Yeah, that was a pretty good fight scene.
Van Damme had some pretty good fight scenes, I was surprised something from one of his better films like Bloodsport didn't make the list.
Or Kareem VS. Bruce Lee.

I don't know about the Kareem fight, but it is strange that there was no Bruce Lee fights in there. No Jet Li either, who I love to watch fight.
And, one personal addition I would make is the grease fight scene in "The Transporter."

Lethal Weapon 4, now that I think of it, had a ridiculously awesome highway fight scene where Riggs ends up leaving Murtaugh's car to fight baddies in house being pulled on a flatbed.
Here's a video of it, whoever encoded it fucked up the screen ratio somehow.

The fight was only like 30 seconds long. That's is more of an action scene as opposed to a straight "Fight Scene".

Yeah, I guess that's true. A lot of fights tend to be fairly short though. I think that's part of what made the Darth Maul fight so memorable.. it was unusually long and well choreographed.

I heard the part where Scorpion is flipped backward and hits his ankles on the cross-beam was inspired by the Afroninja.

This guy sucks. I know he wanted to avoid the martial arts flicks, but where do you get some of the better fight scenes.
For an oft unrecognized gem, I recommend the fight between The Punisher and The russian with the where's waldo shirt(as played by Kevin Nash).

I agree with the Punisher fight. I actually mentioned it to Jeebus earlier when I was telling him about this thread. I was happy to see a Jackie Chan fight on this, he's done some great stuff over the years.
I'm also pissed the guy didn't put a single Rocky fight on the list. III or IV def should have been there.

It's really weird that the guy didn't want to saturate his list with kung fu movies, because if it's about fighting then those are probably where you'll find the best 10. Somethings I'm surprised aren't on there:
Fist of Legend - Jet Li has to fight a sword weilding opponent using his belt. HIS FUCKING BELT. This would probably be my number 1.
Considering how bizarre and subpar a lot of the things he chose were, I would think Blade deserves to be on there. I watched it a few days ago and there's some pretty cool shit there. Bruce Lee deserves to be on the list as well. I know Jackie Chan's on there already for Legend of Drunken Master (and deservedly so), but I think he's awesome enough to deserve two spots so the battle in City Hunter where he has to fight off 2 giant black guys in a movie theatre that's showing the fight between Bruce Lee and Kareem in Game of Death should be on there. Not only does it include parts of the Bruce Lee fight, but Jackie Chan takes on two guys while cracking jokes and stealing moves from the movie screen. If you haven't seen this fight, find it.

That scene in the Punisher almost convinced me to buy the dvd, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna pay 10 bucks for that movie - even if it's with a rebate card from Cingular.
Oh, and that list sucks. Besides the fight from They Live, the Kirk/Kruge fights from Star Trek III needs to be there.

Jack Skellington vs. Oogie would be good too. Although if we go into animated stuff, I'm sure we'd end up with no live action stuff.

I love First Strike, where Chan uses a ladder to beat the shit out of 2 guys, and he grabs it with his feet.

Knyte, both hilariously excellent choices.
For more Street Fighter spoofage, I also highly recommend "Future Cops", which is a full-length Hong Kong action comedy that basically uses Street Fighter characters but changes the names.
Here's the beginning of it:

Man, forget you all: He-Man vs. Skeletor!
True Facts:
George Lucas got the idea for a duo sided light saber after seeing Skeletor fight with his staff.
George Lucas got the idea to use blue and orange lighting for the final duel in Episode II from MotU.
Oh, and I think I have to say Superman vs. Nuclear Man on the moon. Epic.

"Do you hear? The alpha and the omega. Death and rebirth. And as you die, so will I be reborn!" - Skeletor

There was a period in my life where for two whole years I only watched Hong Kong kung fu films made between the years 1973 and 1991.
I watched an average of two films a day, so that's about 1,500 "Kong Fu" movies.
To give you a sense of how laughable I find that list, I could take a completely random film I watched during that time, choose a completely random fight, and it would be better than at least half of that list.
If you give me the opportunity to choose the best fight from a completely random film in that genre, it would be indisputably better than anything on that list.
Did I also mention that none of my favorite action scenes are from Hong Kong kung fu films during that period?
I'd go with any number of scenes from the re-make of "Dragon Inn", "Legend of the Wolf", "Ong Bak", and Lonewolf and Cub series as the best fight scenes I've ever witnessed.
Among American films, I'd go with the Chuck Norris classic "The Delta Force", the Matrix (damn that was an awesome film, regardless of how many fucking nerds, shitty sequels, and shitty products are now associated with it), and any number of Charlie Bronson films as having awesome fight scenes.
I could literally rave for days and days about how unintentionally funny and awesome these films are, but here are some links (which really don't do justice to the films, but it's better than nothing)...
Trailer for the Delta Force, incredibly funny
Has there ever been a more kickass five minutes to start any film?
Horrible video quality, but the best martial arts movie I've ever seen in my life...plus a badass beheading at 7:10
It's a damn shame they don't show this in Hollywood films
One of the coolest scenes in any American action film
Edit-
Is there some limit for embedded videos I'm not aware of?
