Not a fan of his comedy, but that was pretty funny.

Not a huge fan of his, Ghost Town was about the only thing I've seen of him that I liked, but this was pretty good. A pot shot at Mel Gibson is always funny.

Wow Buscemi did not look happy when Gervais mentioned Boardwalk and Walking Dead.

Yea, I saw this. It was pretty hilarious. Those who were offended or upset by it take shit way too seriously.

He's just a comedian making jokes in that roasting style that's so popular right now. That doesn't really make him badass to talk shit about celebrities, because everyone else does too except most people aren't joking like he was.

I didn't think it was as funny as everyone else did. It was ok I guess.

Your right but this was on live tv and few people would do that.

Well his bluntness in his comedy has been a trademark so I expected something like that, it was nice.

Yeah, I don't like him all that much either and anyone who says the British Office is better than the American one is a wanker.

The British version was way more awkward feeling. As for what Gervais did... well, he won't be hosting next year, will he?

I will say this of the british office, at least it ended soon and didn't outlive it's welcome.

Touche. I wish that they'd just stop after Steve Carrell leaves. Finding anybody to replace him in that show would be like trying to replace Jim Morrisson with Ian Astbu... nevermind. It would be replacing something good with something not quite as good.

He always acts like this. it's not like he just did it because he was hosting. look up some of his interviews.

Which also why the British Office didn't work as well. His character was genuinely unlikeable. You feel bad for Steve Carrell's Michael and sympathize with him. He's dumb, but he generally means well. The Gervais character was just a boorish asshole.

I hate celebrity humor. It's easy to do, and it ages horribly. The only thing special about this is that he did it around celebrities, which most E! and VH1 guests wouldn't have the fucking guts to do.

Lenny Bruce and George Carlin were arrested for saying 9 and 7 words, respectively.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

...what? The only thing that could be more awkward feeling than The Office USA version is a show consisting of a fart followed by 22 minutes of dead air.

That would be a more entertaining show than The Office.

I still enjoy The Office. If you want to talk about a show outliving it's welcome, let's talk Simpsons. But yeah, they really should end it after Carell leaves.

The show should end with Dunder Mifflin being bought by Danny DeVito's character from Other People's Money and liquidated because "people don't use paper anymore".
