Yeah but I'm using that OS right now, the message specifically says that after August 30 I won't be able to use steam on Windows 2000 anymore. Which is exactly what I'm doing right now, using Steam on Windows 2000.

Just joined, I mostly play Team Fortress 2 and Worms Reloaded. Worms has multiplayer issues right now though so you can't get into any games yet until they patch it.

Just a bump to say that, not only did I join the SLF Steam group, I plunked down the cash for TF and TF2 after seeing that was by far the most popular game in the group. (Plus its Valve, and they can have pretty much all the money they want from me.) I better see you guys on there now  .
Also, if anyone's up for some zombie killing in L4D/L4D2, I'm in. 
Also: is there a way to send a group invite for a game? Like if I wanted to let everyone in the group/on my friendlist know I was playing a multiplayer game, can you send out a ping saying hey, come join me?

If they are on your friendlist as soon as you start a game it will come up on their screen that you are playing said game. You can invite people to play the game via chat. If you were in charge of the sydlexia group on steam you could always start an event asking people to come and play.

If you were in charge of the sydlexia group on steam you could always start an event asking people to come and play. |
As the group owner, I have the ability to delegate officer status.
Hawk, you are now an officer, hopefully you can now establish group events. Let me know if it works.
For the info here, Alowishus is the Player of the Week... though I don't know what that means or does.
