Meh, that early in the game I'd just hit the reset button. But that implies I'd actually get myself into a situation like that. Kid got what he deserved.

Haha, that is pretty good. I think there are other spots in the game where you can do shit like that.

You'd almost have to do that on purpose to get a result like that. Confused

I've done it on accident before. I then got really angry and shut the system off for the rest of the day.

Huh, never even realized that was possible. Reminds me of one of my favorite jpegs to post on forums, though....

I've done that one too. There are several spots in the early mario games that I got stuck in. I have a knack for finding inescapable places in games.

I must try and remember the games that I KNOW I got stuck in as a kid, there were plenty times where I had to turn off the system and curse a lot. SMB 3 wasn't one of them though.

Incidentally, stuff like this is why SMB2J didn't get a US release back in the day. It was filled with annoying tricks and traps.

The guy had a raccoon suit, there is absolutely no reason why he shouldn't have made that jump.

The depressing thing about the first video, is the upbeat, cheery music, while Mario slowly suffocates to death.

screencaps of mario failing with diabolical bond villain quotes should be a meme.
