hey, after that we should all agree to speak english world wide. it's totally a better language than everything else.

after that, lets start adapting everyone's cultures around the world to all be the same. conformity is a lot easier than individuality.

This.

Fuck the Metric System.

You know who else wanted everyone to be the same? Hitler.

I bet he used the Metric system too.

FNJ, keep the standardization of English out of here.

Atma, Hitler KILLED people who did not agree with them, supporters of metication just favoring and promoting the metric system and metrication.

ALSO: According to Wikipedia, most of the world uses it. My country uses it! I'm not demanding everyone has to have the same religion, race, sexual orientation, culture, etc.

Also, measuring in odd measurements like feet makes me feel like a caveman. Feet. Seriously, what the fuck were they thinking!?

Better hope it isn't at the dealership I went for a test drive at a few years ago, that guy was a huge coke head. If it is there you'll be lucky to get that back, I imagine he can sniff out coke like a drug dog. I was afraid to say much to him after I realized how high he was because I thought I might make him angry and he'd murder me for my wallet lol.

Also, side note. Has this Emoticon always been around? I've never seen it used before or noticed it when clicking through them.

To me, centigrade feels a lot more geared towards measurements of weather based temperature. Generally, it feels in sync with how we perceive certain temperatures to be. (zero cetigrade or less is freezing, 10-20 centigrade is cold, 20-30 is warm, 30-40 is hot, 40 and over is madness)
For the same purpose, Fahrenheit feels like it starts and ends at a random number.

Fahrenheit is usually a scale that works well for weather because it is usually a 100 point scale across our livable conditions.

Anything below 0 or above 100 is not livable.

Of course there is a fuzzy margin on the floor and ceiling there, but that is the basics of (F).

I love Celsius for the temperature, this far north at least. On a very cold winter day, it might get down to negative forty. On a very hot summer day, it might get up to around positive forty (104, Fahrenheit). The year's weather is all symmetrical like.

Gas is hovering around ninety cents a litre right now, if memory serves :O

Eh, that would put you a bit above what I'm paying for gas currently. Provided, I tend not to feel too much pain at the pump, considering I drive a clown car.

The metric system rocks; all you naysayers can kiss my ass. As someone who does handyman oddjobs, I can't count how many times I've resorted to using metric instead of imperial with my measurements. Who the fuck wants to constantly use fractions every goddamn time they measure and cut 2x4's when it's much easier to use numbers that are always divisible by the number 10?

My ancestors came to Austraila AFTER all that, when Austraila was recognized as a country, not a colony used to dump undesirables. How could I be an undesirable now?

Australia has done, and continues to do, things to rabbits that are as bad as what Hitler did to human beings.

Hey, you have absolutely no proof rabbits are trying to corner the international banking system and set up a bunny homeland! It's all just propaganda!
