Yeah! Great idea! I can't wait to tell that to my wheelchair-bound friends! They'll be so excited about being able to unlock all that content in the games they paid for!

Also, I think this is a great feature...
...to abuse.
I bet that if they made it, it would be seldom used.

Next generation of Hey You Pikachu and the Pokewalker. For a moment I was hoping the coins would refer to the coin system Club Nintendo employs.

They can always put their 3DS in a dryer; that's what people have been doing with their poke walker, right?
In all seriousness, that's quite a nice bonus; I normally carry my DS to wherever I go, so being rewarded for doing what I already do is quite welcomed.

Exactly Atman, fat kids will just hook their 3DS up to their mother's vibrator and exploit the hell out of it, hah.
But yea, great feature, already pre-ordered my 3DS.

But it's all frozen for like, half the year here! If you take LCD's out in there, then they get all weird and slow and everything has trails behind it D:

My DS is usually stuck in my backpack so it better count my steps that way. Otherwise I'll be tying it to the ceiling fan like people did with pokewalkers when I go to bed so that I wake up with tons of coins in the morning.

It would be better if it had a separate pedometer, vis a vis, the Pokewalker. I don't want to lug around my handheld all the time. What make the Pokewalker great was that it was the same shape and size as an ACTUAL pedometer.

For some reason, I now feel like putting my DSi in a freezer. I want to see this effect.
