Hi All,
(ex) lurker here. I'm a really big fan of good bad-movies, i.e. movies that are so bad that they become entertaining. Anyways, I need some new movies to watch, and I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions?
My favorite so far has been the 1966 Batman movie. "Robin! Hand me... the shark repellent"

Welcome!
For me, the ultimate so-bad-it's-amazing movie will always be the Nic Cage "Wicker Man" remake. Awful, but oh...my...god... (And, do yourself a favor: if you've never seen it, don't go looking up videos of it before seeing it. Go in not expecting the good parts, and they'll be that much funnier.)
I'm personally a huge fan of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show,' but that's not exactly in the same kind of vein, and it's definitely not for everyone.

No way dude. That's a terrible movie, but I dare anyone to try to watch that by themselves without the MST3k guys, it's very very boring. If you have a few friends, it might be okay, but don't even try to watch this alone, it's way too boring.
The mexican movie Santa Claus is pretty high up there, it's got a lot of unintentional humor.
Also, The Man Who Saved the World aka Turkish Star Wars. In fact, it's even more fun when you turn the subtitles off.

We've been over this. Demolition Man is /not/ a bad movie.

Heh, I came in here expecting a thread about Best Worst Movie.
As for the actual topic... I'd have to go with Pluto Nash.

Absolutely correct. WITH MST3K though, it DOES become a candidate for Best Worst Movie Ever.
Speaking of MST3K though, The Final Sacrifice is a movie that would be watchable and hilarious even without the commentary. It's just competent enough in its writing and filmmaking to not be a chore to watch, but so badly and cheaply executed that it can't help but be terrible.

My bad for being confusing. I was hoping to start a discussion on which bad movie is best, and getting some ideas for ones that I want to watch.

I've heard that was pretty good. Also the mortal kombat movie, but I haven't been able to find either in any searching that I have done.
(i.e. Blockbuster didn't have them)

The Street Fighter movie is not good. Raul Julia is fantastic in it though. But the movie suffers from several problems:
1) Trying to cram every character (except Fei Long) from Street Fighter 2 into the movie at great detriment to the story.
2) Reducing Ken and Ryu to not only tertiary characters, but comic relief.
3) Casting a guy who barely speaks English as an American war hero.
4) Making Dhalsim into fucking Ghandi.
Every scene with Raul Julia as Lord Bison is pure gold though. Pure gold.

Ahhhh, the original Mortal Kombat movie is one of my all-time favorites. Christopher Lambert elevates it from so bad it's good, to actually pretty damn entertaining.

I don't consider anything about Mortal Kombat bad. Even without Christopher Lambert it would have still been just fine with me.

Exactly, and he single handedly saves the movies into being not only watchable, but enjoyable as well.
