meh. I don't feel that everything should have to the the epic masterpiece of the lilan culture. If you've read the books, then you will enjoy the homage that the movie pays. if you haven't, then why are you even seeing a michael cera movie?

ramona was supposed to be chubbed up. there's a running joke in the books where people keep making comments about her thighs and shit.

also, there's an entire subplot in the books where ramona leaves scott, and he ends up in a slump. he propositions both envy and knives for casual sex, and knives turns him down, saying that she grew up and got over him. this is the ass end of an angle where stills is gay, but scott is too oblivious to realize this while he's busy lamenting over ramona, and he accuses knives of sleeping with him. to this she laughs.

in the books, sex bomb omb doesnt get a record deal with gideon. envy starts dating him. the band spends their time trying to record their own album instead.
