Oh I forgot to mention, that fireworks factory explosion was fucking awesome.

If I'm ever Oprah rich, I'm buying one and burning it to the ground.

One thanksgiving I went to warm myself by the fire. I must have been 2-3 feet away from it, but somehow my sweater lit up and within about 1/10 of a second the entire bottom portion was a ball of flame. The flame rolled up the sweater towards my head.

The fire went out as fast as it started. It was insanely hot, like a flash of heat. My sweater was white and all of the fibers had singes on the tips.

I still have no idea what the fuck happened, but it definitely scared the shit out of me.

If you wash a pair of socks a ton of times, and they get real fuzzy, they'll do the same thing, just a quick burst of flame across them as it burns up the tiny small fibers. Then it'll go out, but it looks like a quick ball of fire.

Tennis balls too. My best friend and I used to pour gasoline on them and light them on fire, then kick/hit them back and forth to one another.

I never said I wasn't a dumb kid.

Ironic for all the grilling and camping I do, but I've never started a scary kind of fire. A few easily put out flare ups on the grill, but that's it.

That does not mean that I can't contribute to the entertainment though! Behold, one of my all-time favorite scenes from "Frasier," one I instantly thought of after reading this thread:

David Hyde Pierce = comic gold.

I don't have much other than forgetting a frying pan with oil on the oven. The fire was pretty damn big though, the wall and ceiling were all black after we put the fire out.
My sister's coat once caught fire when she got too close to a campfire, but it was so small she didn't even notice until after my father put it out.

Ooh, I just remembered. My mom tried to make Bananas Foster one time and used WAY too much rum. The column of flame that shot up was epic. Nothing else caught fire though. But she sure did ruin those bananas.

I haven't started a fire per se, but twice I set a pot of water on our stove for it to boil and left it for over an hour when I went downstairs to browse online or hang out in the chat. We have a gas stove, and both pots were ruined. Sad

Needless to say, my mom doesn't like me using the oven when I'm alone at the house anymore. Confused

I decided to warm one up like I would a McDonald's burger, forgetting that A&W wraps theirs in foil.

Funnily enough, I did this with a Chipotle burrito. Even though the foil is the ONLY thing they wrap the burrito with. I started it, a spark immediately started and stopped the microwave. In the space of .3 seconds. Didn't start a fire, but it was damned close.
