Yep. Plus, the stem cells used were HIS OWN, unless I totally misread the article. Even asshats who think ALL stem cell use should be outlawed have to admit that, since it's his own body, he can do what he damn well pleases. No one objects to burn victims having reconstruction surgery using skin grafts, do they?

The stem cells used were from a rare person who has a genetic resistance to HIV. I imagine he's a prime target for the pro-AIDS people by now.

I get the feeling that aids and stuff are implemented to make sure that humans still die. I mean, it's the circle of life, the lifestream. With advancements in technology stopping people from getting sick and dying, eventually we're gonna have flesh reapers coming out of the ground and randomly slaughtering people.

But someone with a high IQ can still be incredibly stupid. Stupidity is not caused by a low IQ. It's caused by actions. And there are different kinds of smart, too. There's book smart, which is measured by test scores and IQ tests, and then there is street smart, which is how much common sense someone has and how well they can survive in the real world. So, IQ has nothing to do with stupidity.
