I hate these commercials. They suck. Really!

I hate the actual commercials, but the parodies aren't too bad, unless you watch a whole lot of them.

I actually like the commercials. The thing is, I don't think they do want Apple wants them to do. The PC is the entertaining one in the commercials, while the Mac is boring and kind of smug. The message I get from those commercials is:

Mac = boring, PC = hilarious.

You just point me to all the MAC software compatible with PCs.... oh wait... crossing platforms either way is a pain in the ass! Except with the intel chips, you can actually install windows based systems on a mac... what can PC do? Razz

I find the commercials entertaining, especially the one about Vista and its security. I don't have the experience with Vista to validate the truth, but the concept is still funny. Also, I find it funny that the guy who represents PC kind of looks like Bill Gates. It's much better than most of the other commercials I see, so that's another boost. IN terms of reality, I prefer PC immensely over Mac.

And Mac gaming is sorely lacking, unless you use Wine Linux, and that's Windows emulation. (Oh, by the way, Apple and Microsoft are merged companies, so that's why Mac OS gets closer to Windows with every release, and vice versa).

There's a big leap between having a 5 year contract to have Microsoft Office & BootCamp Mac compatibility & being "merged"... Confused

And besides, PCs and Macs are basically equal. I mean, sure, they both have their strengths, but they also both have their weaknesses.

Welcome to the year 1999, when I had a 5 button mouse.

What program do I have that is the equivalent to those i-bullshit programs, that aren't invasive as hell, horrible system resource hogs, and are instnatly available on download through the internet? How about, every fucking program made to do that shit for PC.

I got love for Macs, man. Macs were the first computers I learned how to use (from kindergarten)

And the video editing software was what I used when I was in camp upstate. You can do some really cool shit on there

...But they're expensive!
