I actually did a couple minor voices for the game as well; I wonder if they made the final cut.

I'd better go buy a DSi...

OH! I remember this game being pretty sweet on the GBC, I will have to get this... And since it's DSiware it's less of a hassle if I just buy it Sad

Definitely buy this. Risky's Revenge was originally planned as a GBA title and it took until October 2010 for it to finally get released due to the small size of the company and the funding required. Shantae is true indie gaming, and they need your money.

i don't like the style, it really does look like some oriental polly pocket but everything else looks awesome. classic gameplay elements, mixed a little different then usual. thats alrigth.

Never played the first one, but I highly recommend this game. It has Metroid-style gameplay in a Mario-style setting.

Holy crap, that's what the name of this game is! For some reason I had confused it with the DS remake of Super Giana Sisters, and I kept getting pissed off that that game was nothing like the trailer I had seen.

Agreed. In fact, get both.

Giana Sisters is a little harder/more expensive to get, though. So get Risky's Revenge first. Wink

One of my favorite little things about Risky's Revenge is talking to villagers. The stuff they say is great.
