I should really learn how to make romhacks because most of my game ideas are really just reimaginings/improvements of existing games. I'm not talking funky graphics or plot changes and mere bugfixes, I mean reinventing certain games to make them really cool.
Start studying ASM.

I had an idea once when basically you as a british gangster that has a rag tag group of thieves that you hire and then go do hiests with. If a player gets killed then hes gone forever and can no longer come back. If a player gets greedy and starts stealing money you can kill him off or make him a partner and screw your other members. Similar to the Kane and Lynch Multiplayer mode only with a ton of more depth and Story, believable characters and car chases.

Question... Could it be a spinoff of the sly cooper franchise? Because then I would buy the crap out of that game.

I'd like to see some sort of combination of Hitman and GTA.

I always wanted to make a seriously in depth Tactical FPS game. Back when I was heavily into Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, I came up with these ideas:
1. Wounding system:
If you are shot in the limbs, then that limb is injured and effects mobility. IE Arms would effect your aiming and ability to hold a gun straight. A leg would force you to limp and/or drag yourself depending on severity of the wound. Also, you would slowly black out due to blood loss, unless a teammate tends to the wound. The blood would drip onto the ground or even smear if you were crawling or dragging yourself along. If noticed by the AI, then they could follow the blood trail to find you.
Teammates would also be able to drag or carry you to safety. If they were dragging you by your shoulders, then you could still fire your sidearm to give them cover. (COD4 kind of did this with the Last Man Standing Perk) Or, you could suicide yourself, by pulling the pin on a grenade and just holding the level closed. So when an enemy found you, you could release it, or drop it when killed.
2. Realistic hit location damage. Like what the Soldier of Fortune games started. By down to the minute detail. Organs, Bones, Tendons, etc.
3. A full breach and rope repelling system. (Which Rainbow Six did with Vegas)
4. Hostages that were intelligent, and could be anywhere from in shock, to fully cooperative, to suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
5. Being able to subdue and arrest targets, rather than always having to kill them. (Which Swat 4 introduced.)
6. Full pre-mission planning, with not only team members, but also with Helly support, snipers across the street, and even being able to have the city cut power to the building on your command.
Now that I think back on this, I want this game more than ever. I am so sick of these auto-healing, one man army, carrying way too much gear, weapons, and ammo bullshit games we now have. (COD, Halo, MOH, etc.) I want realism, not arcade. I want tactics over action.

I wanted to make a game based on roman gladiators, you pick youre characters origin of birth and features (height, weight, age, skill set, etc.) and then start off at the bottom, fighting in different arenas, building fame and glory until you compete in the games in Rome. Youre ultimate goal is of course to win your freedom
Unoriginal and its been done, I know, but at the time I thought it was a really cool idea
Let's assume it's a mixture of the two!

It could but i rather see it similar to The Getaway.
Garbage video but I liked the way this game played, if you got shot you were shot for the rest of the level and had to limp around and such

Sometimes I like to create level designs for existing games, like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. I have got ideas on the design, but they are somewhat bland and unoriginal because I am unimaginative. Also, I don't really know how I could implement the levels into a game. I could use the Super Mario Bros. X (http://www.supermariobrothers.org/smbx/) fan game as a base someday.

Not true, The Getaway was actually one of the early hide behind the wall and suck your thumb until you heal games, the bloodstains on your back would slowly decrease if you were standing still and not taking any more damage.
Now in it's defense the game got really hard the further you got and hiding and healing got more and more harder to pull off so I think it was well implemented but, whatever.
Also the Getaway 2 was unplayable to me, anyone ever finish it?

A long time ago I had an idea for a game called Mutant Mission. It was basically a hybrid of Blaster Master and Mega Man. (Imagine if Mega Man had a tank). If I ever actually made it it would have been cool.

You know those robot walkers in Mega Man X? Imagine a game with nothing but that. The walker gets the same upgrades you do, just on a much larger scale. If your walker is destroyed, you can continue on foot until you're destroyed as well. You get huge bonuses if you finish a stage without it.

I'd love a faithful conversion of the Battletech tabletop game to PC, I know everyone says Megamek is the closest it will ever be, but I want an official product, not some (albeit well done) fan made thing. Something that looks and controls similar to Shattered Union maybe.
