Because of the shitty graphics the programmers were really limited in ways of how the characters would express feelings.
They had no mimic, no voices to work with wich is common today.
So the programmers had to focus on the body.
If you may have noticed the FF VII Chars have a detailed body language wich i did find in such markedness only in FF VII. Well for the games today its not uncommon to use actors to bring some life into the characters and that brings by far better results. But FF VII is about 10 years old so thats a noteable aspect...oh god, now i really feel like a nerd. shoot me.

The first two Metal Gear games should be remade with modern MGS gameplay.
Also, Magic of Scheherazade, The Guardian Legend, both on NES, should be remade. And the first Final Fantasy Legend on Game Boy should be remade, with nothing done to the leveling system

A "The Guardian Legend" remake would be awesome. I'd love to play that!

I would love a new Road Rash. I used to play the 64 version I had all the time.
Also Quest 64, I know it hasn't been that long since it was made but I love it and still own it. It wasn't a great game per-se but I played the hell out of it.
I'd also love to see a Perfect Dark remake so we can pretend that PD:Z never happened.
Earthbound, as much as I enjoy it, would benefit from updated graphics as well.
