This was front page news on Yahoo, which is kinda sad. I fondly remember a golden age that ended a few weeks ago, an age when Yahoo wasn't just a crappy MSN.com rip-off. But anyway, here's a viral video of the Simpsons intro redone with live actors:

It's a pretty faithful translation, but there's at least one error. Namely, you never see the radioactive rod fall into Homer's clothes.

I didn't like it much. This is one of those rare times where I actually saw it before it got posted here. Weird.

Another error (but not one that could be made accurate without road clearance) is the fact they drive on the other side of the road heh.

It was done in the UK, and I guess they abided by the road rules. I would gladly break the rules for the proper take... but then again, they'd have to get an American car there too... and who wants one of those?
