Do any of you own "Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals" or have you played it? There is limited press about this title and not much chatter.
I am especially interested to hear if Douche has played it.

I've played both SNES games. No complaints with either one.

I was kinda stoked for it, as I thought it was gonna be a sequel but it's supposedly just a remake of one of the SNES games, which I loved. Don't care for remakes, probably won't play. If I hear enough people tell me that it's worth it though, I may give it a shot.

From what I understand, it is a reboot of the Lufia franchise. It is a remake of Lufia II (the first game chronologically), only it's done Zelda style, instead of as a turn-based RPG.

I don't think the new Lufia will have anything in common with the original series. i highly doubt that. But i'am a huge Lufia fan so i will buy it anyway.

Hmm Im all for remakes, but a "reboot" that changes the core mechanic of the game? I don't know about that.

My dad is such a freakin Lufia nut that not only is he getting this game, he already ordered the Japanese strategy guide for the maps and charts it has. Nevermind that he can't, you know, read Japanese.
