Where I live, Thanksgiving seems to be nonexistent. I don't know if this is a good thing. Everyone is talking about Christmas.

Haha, poor turkey day can't even get its day. It's turned into the day that we can start mentioning xmas without backlash.

Go pats and go turkey!

Today I am supposed to bring a pumkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner. Last night my wife and I made one and something went wrong with the eggs. So I set my alarm for 9:00am to quickly make it to the grocery store and get what I need to make a quick pie.

My wife woke up at about 8:55 and nudged me to say "Happy Thanksgiving" I was happy to wake up to her instead of the radio, so I smiled and rested back for a few minutes before the alarm told me I had to get out of bed.

As alarms tend to be, mine was on time and went off at 9:00. The radio faded in and what did I hear?

Shinedown - Happy Christmas (War is Over)
http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/s/Happy+Christmas+War+is+Over+/2G8nUk

A mother fucking Christmas song... not even the original, some fucking shitty screechy remake of a John Lennon's Happy Christmas (War is Over).

My morning remained crappy for another 5 minutes until I got in the car and blasted You Could Be Mine. Thank goodness that GNR can solve almost every problem.

I did. I would have laughed pretty hard if the Pats lost to a 2-8 team.

Celebrating Thanksgiving with a handle of Jack Daniels and the entire Ren & Stimpy collection. I like it.

Thanksgiving was about as normal as every other year. Family arrived eager to see each other, and everyone left pissed off at each other. It was hilarious.

In other news, Roy Williams, as well as the entire New Orleans Saints team, can kiss my ass. Evil

The great thing I love about Thanksgiving is that it's not a religious holiday, so I can wish any fellow American a happy Thanksgiving without fear of offending them. And if I do offend them, and they're all like "Oh, I don't celebrate Thanksgiving.", I have free reign to punch them in the stomach. If you live in America, THEN YOU BETTER FUCKING CELEBRATE THANKSGIVING. Simple as that. Or at least lie and say "you too" when someone wishes you a happy Thanksgiving. Otherwise, stomach punch.

I enjoy Thanksgiving because I have no close relatives. And I am fucking glad for it. Nearly all my cousins and uncles and whatnot are insane/assholes/drunks/incestuous/dead. So the fact that's just me and my sane by comparison mom+dad and brother is swell. And turkey is good, I s'pose.

let's have a toast to the douchebags

Well Christmas is a national holiday so you could in theory tell people to celebrate it to as their duty as an American.
