Okay, I figure bumping one self-indulgent thread is better than making a second one.
I decided I'm going to do Final Fantasy IX, since:
1) The other night, I heard a ton of "I've never played it before"s.
2) After looking over Chrono Trigger, I really just don't want to play it right now.
3) I can't record GB games nearly as well as I thought I could.
4) I'm absolutely fucking crazy.
I probably won't get into it for a few weeks, but when I do, I want to be ready with some names. So suggest some. It's first come first serve on the characters, but I reserve the right to veto any names (also, I get Zidane).
And as funny as it is to see the line "Some call me the Flaming Asshole", try and keep them clean.

I'm torn between calling Freya or Garnet as "Hawk." Freya is undoubtedly the more badass, but Garnet can summon. Also, Garnet actually gets used in most games, unlike Freya.
Still...a dragoon, even a lovelorn one, beats a princess. I'll take Freya as Hawk.

7 letter limit, so Thunderhorse won't fit. Neither will Eikojuice.
"Flaming Woodzy" has a nice ring to it.
Hawk is also a pretty fitting name for a dragon knight.
Valdy accepted for Vivi.
