I hope she seriously runs. She might actually be able to win the Republican nomination in 2012, but she'd get crushed. CRUSHED. Obama could lose to a qualified Republican, but not her.

Obama or Palin? Palin.
Not because I'm Republican, but because I don't have to change sexual preference to fuck Palin. [/bad, tasteless joke]

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

Palin won't win the nomination. If she somehow DOES win the nomination, the party will probably force her to step down. She simply CANNOT win a presidential election, however any remotely competent Republican will be able to.

The way that half the country has hyped it up that Obama "hates America" and the growing popularity of the Tea Party, if Sarah Palin ran I could see her giving Obama a run for his money. I'd rather her not be my president because she's a fucking moron, but it really isn't that far fetched.
A far better qualified Republican will probably lose his or her chance to Palin, ultimately because she's popular, has a reality show, has money, etc. It's terrible.

I have to agree with the majority, Palin would get destroyed, and if she know any better, she'll back someone and possibly jump on board somewhere down the line. I still don't know if other Republicans would be able to beat Obama, since I see him likely pulling the moderate card like Clinton did.
That said, if it really came down to Palin/Obama, my vote is going 3rd party or write in, just like the last election.

Seriously? I could care less at this point. I'm so disillusioned by politics and political muckraking and partisanship that I'm considering just not voting anymore. I don't want to give the system validity by participating in it.

Fuck that. If we're voting for past Republicans, can I vote for Ronald Reagan? I don't think a charismatic dead guy could do any worse than Palin, who is functionally brain dead anyway.

I hope Palin runs, because the world will wake up and see her for the fraud she is. Full of a bunch of pre-scripted one liners, she's riding her fame to incredible fortune, and if she ran for president, not only would she get slaughtered, but it'd finally tarnish her name so she'd lose the popularity she's becoming so rich off of.

Honestly, I don't think Palin's very popular beyond the fact that half the world secretly harbors the urge to sex her up. The other half don't keep it secret.

Palin as president would be a nightmare. Every damn appearance she makes would be like American Idol, where the majority of the media coverage is there to discuss what she wore.

I have always predicted that because she has a reality there has to be like a clip of her saying something really dumb or racist that an angry producer will release.

Really people?
Is life so terrible right now? Personally I feel that Obama hasn't been the greatest president, and especially not the one that most of us believed he could and should have been.
Still, I would rather take ineffective over detrimental every day of the week. Obama came into a failed economy and has done little to fix it. However, his focus has not been on our rights as citizens. Palin will target things like abortion, stem cell research, religion in public, and same-sex unions. Don't get me wrong, these are big issues, but I feel her position on most of them is insane or ignorant. More importantly, they are issues that can be dealt with over time while the economy and domestic healing of the US should be the primary focus.
Palin is a nut and her campaigning is a joke. If the republican party makes her the nominee then I would argue that the party is being irresponsible.

Ron Paul 2012!
Also, I would like to point out that it is disrespectful to refer to her as "Mrs. Palin". Etiquette dictates that former office holders are to be referred to by the higest title they held. So she is Governor Palin.

More like Governor Milf. Or even Gilf. Best of all, the G could stand for grandma or governor!
This being the case, if Arnold gets out of politics and gets back into acting, would he have to be billed as Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger? As if movie marquees weren't long enough.

You just refereed to Congressman Ron Paul without his title... Are you suggesting that if a title is used it must be the highest one or alternatively not used at all?
