also if you like the anime series hajime no ippo and you have access to a mame emulator (it works best on HKaillera) play the game best bout boxing. it's amazing.

the mexican guy is mashiba, the korean guy is vorg, the american guy is mike tyson, and the japanese guy is ippo. the british guy is miyata. the brazilian guy is aoki.

it's fucking great.

Extreme Bartender sounds a lot like Tapper/Root Beer Tapper. If you haven't played those, you should as that's basically that idea. I love it.

Yeah, that pretty much is Root Beer Tapper. I think it'd hard as hell after level 3 or 4 but some people can beat it without losing once.

Not to argue but after six, which is tied with 7 in my book, we also got FF Tactics which was an awesome game. I hated 9 and X-2. XI has by far stolen the most time from me. I'm quiting that tomorrow. XII wasn't bad though. It was a nice change I think. But yea in closing 6 owned, 7 reopened and owned, then it was a steady decline.

you start in a ship..find some dude..he gets stuff to build a radio tower with..and you build drop off points...to get your units and stuff...whenever your hero dies..someone becomes the new hero..making have to get familiar with a new face..unless you pwn..you switch between fps and rts mode at will...and can build anywhere

Top 10 Games I still enjoy in some sense:

10. F.E.A.R. Combat

9. Half Life 1 (mods)

8. Quake 1 (also mods, or just DM)

7. F.E.A.R. Combat

6. Doom 2 (and Doom engine games such as Hexen)

5. San Andreas Multiplayer

4. Quest for Glory series, good for a playthrough once in a while

3. Deus Ex

2. Fallout 1 and 2, also good for periodic playthroughs

1. Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha JAP version, for bug and balance fixes

Everything 10 to 2 doesn't really matter order-wise. I do place Street Fighter first intentionally, though. If nothing else due to its nature of being easily picked up and played.

Honorable mention goes to Starcraft / Brood War, for somehow causing me to install it years and years later, on a random whim.

Thirded, except I liked 8. I remember kind of liking 9 up until I got to this part where these rats were dancing, then wondered why the fuck I was playing a game with dancing rats up to the 2nd disc.

Sir, advoid Final Fantasy 7. There is Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil and a good number of other PS1 games more healthier to your brain than FF7 for you to play.

My favorite part of FF7 was finding it for 1$ at a yard sale, and then selling it after I got bored of it after disc 2 for 90$ when that crappy movie came out.

I own FFs 7 to 10. I really liked 9, and 8 is good, though I got tired at the end. I'm currently playing 10, trying to make the side quests (I hate Thunder Plains).
I should start playing 7, as I played less than an hour on it.

FF6 is the best, but I still have to try FF3 (japan), FF11, FF12, FF tactics and maybe some others I forgot about.

I wanna try the DS one. My least favorite was definetly 10. I hate when I have to play as Ellen Degeneres an entire game.

I can understand why a lot of people like 7 so much, it was probably great when it first came out. It seems like a lot of the dumbasses who like it haven't even played it.

Why is there so much hate on FF7? It was a good game (granted, I barely made it off disc one before my copy went kerflooey.)

And FF3 for the DS is cool, but I need seven people's friend codes so I can send them mail and do all the secret stuff in the game. That's right, to access the best of the secret stuff, you need to have friends! Somehow I'm guessing a lot of nerds won't be able to do the secret stuff. Until somebody makes something that tricks the DS into thinking its sending mail to other people...

It's like jobs on the Sims. To get some promotions, you have to have so many family friends. I thought the idea of success was to trample, use, and manipulate everyone you meet? Well, I am depressed.

The only Final Fantasy I have anything against is FFVIII, (I can play it, I'm just into totally in love with the storyline.) FFX, and FFX-2. The only one I have yet to play is FFIII, but I'll probably do that with a translated ROM in the near future.
