There is already a Captain Canada, and unfortunately, he's way cooler than ours.

Forgetting Guardian, leader of Alpha Flight?
Well, they did serve on the same team at some point so there's that.

Alpha Flight isn't real. It's just a figment of Wolverine's backstory.

I think if you actually tried to call Wolverine "Captain Canada," you'd be asking for an evisceration.

Wolverine isn't Captain Canada. I don't think he's even Canada's Weapon X. I'm pretty sure Wolvie is America's Weapon X subject and Sabertooth is Canada's.
There is, however, this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Canuck
Also, during Civil War, when superheros were forced to register, U.S. Agent gets shipped off to Canada to fight on their official superhero team. Which I guess, technically made him Captain Canada.

Oh God. I can't NOT say something. A) Alpha Flight existed. B) Logan, Wolverine, James, whatever you call him, IS Captain Canuck if I remember correctly. C) While undeniably awesome, I don't think Captain Canada exists as a comic book character. There is, however a Captain Britain. D) Sabertooth and Logan were part of the same Weapon X project, just a slight time lapse. Deadpool was also part of a branch-off of WepX if I remember correctly, although not a mecha-god thing like he was in Origins. I'm decently educated in X-Men lore, and well-rounded across both the Marvel and DC universes, or at least my 2 Marvel encyclopedias (X-Men and Avengers) and massive DC encyclopedia suggest.

^ Thank you. They were indeed all part of the same Weapon X.
However, there is an actual Captain Canada comic (or was.) I doubt it's still running now, but it did exist at one time.

The comic is Captain Canuck, originally released by Comely Comix, I have no idea who owns the rights now. But as recently as 2006, there were new issues.

I love that it took 30 years to release 15 issues.
Thank you Syd, that shirt is wonderful, and I may just have to buy it. Wolverine is better though haha.
