Sometimes when I have unread posts on this forum, and exit oe get disconnected before I read them all, all the topics set with unread posts status change back to read. Is this just happening to me?

Nah, I've had it happen before, not too often these days thankfully.

Yep. Quite irritating, actually.

Yeah I think that's how it works, every time I disconnect or log out it resets anything unread to read.

Lately, I get the opposite, where unread topics don't change to read when I click them, so sometimes I think there are new posts while the last one is mine.

I think this used to happen to me a lot, but now I don't actually ever log out. I just close my browser, then when I click my bookmark to the site, I'm still logged on. So staying logged on I think would ease your pain.

It happens when you go from sydlexia.com to www.sydlexia.com, or if you change computers when you login. The only reliable solution then is to only use one computer and one spelling of the URL.

I'm not a bad enough dude, but I am an edgy little shit. I'll do what I can.

Definitely not just you. I get it a lot. And the reason it says there's a new post even after you just posted in a forum is because there may have been another topic in that forum that you didn't check on. Happens to me a lot.

Happens to me when I close the internet browser or if I visit a while after I go to a different site.

The "Still Unread" issue only happens when I close the page before it brings me to a message I just wrote.

I'm on a PS3 though, so it's probably pretty different from you guys.

For me, anything as little as browsing away from the forums can cause this.

Never had browsing away cause it. If I double click the masthead, that'll do it though.
