Why does everyone think Grant from Castlemania 3 is so cool? I think Ryu Hayabusa is way cooler. Ryu has a sword, shurikens, and he could climb on walls first. Man, Ryu would kick that sorry idiot Grant's ass any day, because Ninjas are way cooler than pirates.
How come we haven't had a "Metroidvania" style Ninja Gaiden game? That would be awesome.
Also, Grant is a jerk.

I've gotta agree, despite my complete love for castlevania. Grant is lame, so in numero III I would only play as the alternate characters. In fact, all of the early belmonts suffered from a general sluggishness that was difficult to tolerate in a post-mario world. Contrast with ryu, who could wall jump before Samus ever got the inclination. The only complaint is that ryu's legs seem to be moving an awful lot for how fast he goes.
A gaidenvania would be very interesting, though I'm not sure where you would set it.

Grant was an an alternate character, he was the piratey guy who joined you in the Clock Tower. Trevor was the Belmont in that game.

I beat Castlevania III with all three partners as well as soloing iwth Trevor. I also learned that you could retroactively apply the 10 lives code to whatever password you used.

Because I like IE 7 and even if I use Firefox or Opera, it will still be on there, so I'm actually losing space if I switch to something else.
