Have you ever heard of Soluto?

No? Well now you have no excuses. I have officially just told you about it. You can download the application and learn more at the website: http://soluto.com

So what is this thing?

It is a Windows Boot monitor that will break down your boot session application by application and then give you suggestions about how to reduce the boot time. In turn, this will also reduce your system's memory usage by avoiding the automatic launching of unnecessary applications.

The interface is easy to follow, it has a time line to show you how your system has progressively gotten faster or slower and what happened to make it that way.

Just read this and then download it:
http://soluto.com/About/

It will work with the following versions of Windows:
Windows XP/Vista/7 (32bit & 64bit)

P.S. if your name ends in Lexia, or you are related to someone who has the last name Lexia, please be sure to install this application.

Very cool find, GPF. I'm not too worried about my 2005 Dell Dimension 3000's (extremely barebones by today's standards) boot time yet, but I've favorited the website and will look into it when I'm looking for a project.

Thanks!
