Those motherfuckers published the names of current informants??
Unfathomable and inexcusable. I'm all for freedom of speech and information, but that does no good, and only harms. Get a brain, fucktard, and then take your site of the damn net.

Are these classified documents?
The title says 'secret documents' and the text just says 'documents'. It seems like they're intentionally not calling them classified... so I assume they're not classified.

Isn't anyone else disturbed that the Government is having trouble keeping classified documents classified?

Maybe I read this diffrent due to the fact that I have a clearance, but the 3 classifications are
Confidential
Secret
Top Secret
So when I read it, first thing that pops into my head is SECRET classified material.
I could be wrong. Either way, releasing informants names is straight up fucked.

Sadly it really isn't that hard to get stuff out if you have access to it.

I love how WikiLeaks insists on doing this like it has to and acts surprised when anyone claims what they're doing is wrong. I also like how they declare that they're about to commit treason publicly well before they do it, as if they're daring someone to do something about it. They're like the new Pirate Bay.

You leave them out of this! They just wanted people to get movies and games and other media like it was meant to be: less than cheap. How dare thee sully their name!

Ditto, and completely agree.
Off topic, but I'm curious now: are you an officer? Or is it a function of your MOS that you need clearance?

I had to get a secret clearance on entrance to a service academy. I got some real sweet "SECRET" information on the capabilities of our weather satellites, but I probably slept through half the briefing.

Feh, I had Secret clearance when I worked for TSA (and since it supposedly lasts for 10 years, I think I still have it). I never got anything that was actually classified though, just "sensitive security information".

Yeah, I had to get one too to get into officer's training. Secret really doesn't mean much; the good stuff happens at Top Secret.
I was just curious about Atma because--unless they have a specific MI job--the majority of Enlisted guys don't need one (in my experience.) I would think that means he's either part of the Intel community, a higher-ranking NCO, or an officer. Curious which one.

With something like NORAD, it makes sense he needs a Top Secret clearance. I'm sure even the little PV1s need one for something like that.

Have to be a e-3 or above to work at NORAD. I never see any thing below E-3
