Striders were fucking genius. Badass hero, Storyline was intresting enough(not to mention Strider was originally manga by some guy I don't know yet adore), Cool enemies 'n bosses, Levels were cool, Handy power-ups, Peapole shread to pieces and characters spoke their forgein language! How cool is that?
But peapole of Capcom aren't the same no more. Can keep Rockman running and other pretty cool (Devil May Cry, Vietiful Joe and Õkami) games, but no love for classics that could survive(if revived) these days?
Oh yeah, and about Strider 2; Fucking get it or fucking regret it!

strider 2 was a beautiful game. the earlier strider games, however, were less than pleasing to me.

Yeah, unless Capcom has plans to continue the series (which they said after shutting down Clover was "doubtful").

I've never played strider 2, but strider 1 had an arbitrary pirate. I think the game has a story that I'm missing out on.
