I bought Dracula x chronicles for the psp instead. Now that's what a castlevania game should be.

Only thing I would have added to Dracula X Chronicles is the option to play Symphony with the original game script/voice-acting. I can understand why they didn't include that though.

I still want LoS a lot, but maybe when it goes down in price a little. Some people say it's too much like God of War and such, but I've actually never played that (or any "modern" action game for that matter besides Ninja Gaiden II) and I think it looks good on it's own merits. Haters gonna hate.

The more I play this game, the more I enjoy it. Yes, a lot of gameplay elements feel borrowed and much of the classic enemy lineup has been scrapped, but it's still lots of fun to play and the visuals keep getting better and better.

I only had time to beat the first level of the game, but it was incredibly fun. The music isn't very Castlevania-esque, but really, what can you expect from a game that wasn't even going to be a Castlevania game in the first place. People say it has a God of War vibe, but I say it feels a bit more like Dante's Inferno, another game I fucking loved. I'd reccommend picking it up when it lowers in price, but it's great fun compared to the other 2 3D titles, and a word of advice. Don't buy it thinking it's a Castlevania game, because then you'll bring up expectations of a Castlevania game that won't really be fulfilled.

Well, considering the fact that my only interest in it lied with the castlevania title that they slapped on it, thanks for convincing me not to buy it.
