Come November 2nd, the McRib will be available nationwide for the first time in 16 years. McDonald’s rarely offers the sandwich nationwide, instead offering the sandwich a few weeks at a time at random store locations, because as a McDonald’s representative said, the sandwich doesn’t sell well when it’s available year-round.

Sathy, you're awesome and all, but do we really need threads about McDonalds sandwiches? Seriously, dude. Slow news day means you can take the day off and you don't have to post stuff like that. Instead, come play Minecraft with us and marvel at my amazing Master Higgins and Black Mage.

You should totally check out the IRC channel.

I am not. My feelings towards the McRib would be most closely represented by the word "disgusted."

I'd say that the McRib is a big deal in the US. It should be even more meaningful here thanks to the Simpsons Episode featuring the Ribwich.

The McRib is disgusting even by McDonalds standards.

Last time the McRib was available nationwide I was a fucking toddler, so like the Double Down when we thought it was a limited time thing I have to try this at least once.

Then that's... weird. I never saw it on the menu or was even informed of it's existence in the McD's around me here in NYC like ever.

Eh, the 711's in my area have the same thing in the sandwich section, just random meat run through a blender pressed in to rib shape and slathered with barbecue sauce.

Katy Perry is on my to-do list

Let's assume it's a mixture of the two!

Once you get that one checked off, may I suggest putting a blood test on the to-do list?

Ice, don't waste your money on a Double Down, the experience can be easily replicated by licking greasy fried chicken, squirting some Velveeta in your mouth, eating a piece of bacon, and swallowing a whole shaker of salt. Sadly no :yuck:

I just had one of those, it was like Jesus ejaculated in my mouth and then I had an orgasm.

I'm so fucking happy they're bringing this thing back. I'm not going to eat one every day or anything, but when I'm really hungry at work, a big pork sandwich with barbeque sauce for a dollar ninety nine goes a long fucking way. Now if they would only bring back Pepsi Blue and TMNT Hostess Cream Pies, I could die happy.

Syd wins, LOCK IT UP!

I don't remember the McRib being any good. What I do remember about it was that it was at a now defunct McDonalds in town in the old mall that used to have hot dogs.
