I was thinking of picking up Beyond Good & Evil, but I was wondering if it plays better on a certain platform. So basically, should I get it for PC or PS2 or does it matter? Any help would be terrific. Thanks.

It was also on the GCN.
Also, maybe he doesn't have an HDTV. I know I don't.

I don't either but I don't let that stop me from playing games I shouldn't.

It plays best on paper, translated from the original German. I think that it's in the Penguin Portable.

I own the GameCube version. It was a lot of fun, but the play control was lacking a bit. I got pretty far, but in the end, I remember getting to a room where I knew how to continue but couldn't solve the puzzle.
I must not have cared enough to look it up because I stopped playing.

The only real difference (as with all games back then) was with graphics. If it matters to you, then:
Xbox>Cube>PS

Yeah I had it on the Gamecube and it played and looked great. I also have it on PC cause of steam sale but I haven't installed it yet. D:
So yeah, doesn't really matter. Whatever one is most accessible to you.

the graphics don't make a huge difference anyway, because the art is so well-designed and aware of hardware limitations that it holds up very well compared to a lot of its contemporaries.

Alright, I was just a little worried about getting it on the PC, since a lot of games don't translate well on to it.
I played Psychonauts on the PC, which was a great game but I found the controls were a little awkward. I imagine it would of been a smoother experience on the x-box without a keyboard.
or I could just shut the fuck up, and buy the $10 dollar game.
