I've been hearing an argument lately about gays in the battlefield and how they'll gay it up with gay sex. I think the argument is kind of moot because tons of people are having sex out there. You're not supposed to but people find ways. When I was in Iraq, I was hooking up with the girl who ran the library out there. It was perfect because after hours, she'd unlock the door and we'd be left to our own devices. Usually we'd watch a movie first, then we'd have sex in the room where people filmed video greetings to their kids and families. Everytime I saw someone in there filming, I thought it was funny that they had no clue we were boning on that couch. So if any of our other service members on the forum ever go to Joint Base Balad and find themselves in the library, you will think about what I just said. And while you're filming your video messages to your family, you will become distracted and unable to shake the thought that Sidewaydriver had sex on the couch you are sitting on. YOU WILL REMEMBER.

I forget if this story was somehow related to the DADT debate.

Evil...but I always assume someone has been boning on Any couch I rest upon.

From a broad perspective, I don't think it'd be a good idea right off the bat. At least not for the USMC. A lot of marines are southerners, and they aren't exactly tolerant of homosexuality. Regardless of it being a new order to follow, I doubt it'll go over smoothly INSIDE the military itself.
