This was mentioned in the Marvel 3 thread but figured it deserved it's own, especially after viewing it's TGS trailer, which happens to look sick as fuck.
Seems cool. I wonder if it will be essentially plotless like the original, thus allowing them to incorporate characters that otherwise wouldn't make the cut.
In 2009, Tekken director Katsuhiro Harada said that Jun Kazama wasn't dead but Jin believes she is. If fan interest is great enough, she'll be brought back.
Interesting enough, he also said this: "What I can say is that as far as the development team is concerned, only two people in the story are officially, absolutely dead: the original King (killed by Ogre), and the original Armor King (killed by Marduk). In the world of Tekken, the only characters that actually seem to die real deaths so far are pro wrestlers."
I guess he forgot about Kuma I, who died of old age after Tekken 2. The current Kuma is his son.
I'd love to see a more in-depth customization system, like being able to use the hairstyles with the hats/masks/etc... I'd also like more items to be used amongst all of the characters a la' SC4. My inner barbie fashion designer must be appeased.
Personally I hope they tweak the wakeup system, which was my only real beef. Well, that and some character rebalancing, but not a lot.

Honestly, I don't care about customization. It's too much work.

Your inner-fashionista needs motivation or a couple of long island iced teas.

I like the option of being able to make some stupid characters look less stupid, like leo.

Which one was it where you could only make guys look MORE ridiculous? Was that Tekken 4? You could put that giant fucking squirrel on Julia's shoulder and stuff....
The customization was pretty sick in Tekken 5 on the PSP, otherwise known as Dark Resurrection...
...But no one around these parts cares about any Tekkens other than three and Tag, mostly because they're in every freaking arcade in Poland. It's like there's a law that declares "if you want to have an arcade, you need to purchase Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag."
I now bestow upon you the title of Most Awesome Person.

Yea, at least you guys still have arcades in Poland, it's a wasteland over here.
We have awesome arcades where people don't buy regular DDR machines, but use custom Stepmania cabinets with thousands of songs. Nothing beats dancing it out to Bubble Bobble.

I was kinda a beast at on point on DDR, but couldn't stand Stepmania. I simply couldn't grasp the diagonal arrows.

I love retarded customization options. Still wish T6's system was more like SC4.
