I hate it when the final boss doesn't have different music from the other bosses. It happens frequently in older games. It's just so anticlimactic.

I never did because I was too much of a wuss to play Super Mario World by myself. Now it's embarrassing when I try to play Metal Slug with a friend and I fall off the bottom in a stage that scrolls upward. What is that about anyway?

Ys III: Wanderers from Ys. That game would be so much better if it weren't for the hit detection. You have to pretty much be spot-on, or else the hit won't register. Makes it tough to beat the final boss of the game.

what pisses me off most about the classics is that my family got it into their heads to sell my old NES and SNES and all the games for it for like ten dollars each console and a buck per cartridge at a yard sale. this is including the three US Final Fantasy games and a bunch more. way to go, guys. I even had the boxes and books for all of them. |
